My Friend With An Optical Illusion - 01.03.2026

I call this piece my friend because years ago I searched it out and found it, then years later stumbled upon it near my sunset spot. It truly was like seeing a new friend. 

The optical illusion that led me to take this picture is at the bottom of the fence i see a river snaking through the terrain towards a snow packed mountain. 

The artwork is titled Homage to Liberty. 

The segment is located in Kowsky Plaza in Battery Park City, Manhattan. 

It was originally situated in downtown Berlin between Potsdamer Platz and Leipziger Platz. 

The city of Berlin donated this piece to Battery Park City in November 2004, for the 15th anniversary of the Wall's dismantling. 

Price is for 8x10 framed and assembled so when it arrives it's all ready to go.
